During adolescence, peer groups a lot become the just about dominant socialization force next to family. Teens essential the sense of membership and belonging and they can find it when they atomic number 18 with their peers. With a particular group, they learn to have satisfying relationships with others and more importantly they break out their self-indistinguishability.1 However, there are also some negative aspects of being in peer groups. Being closely attached to the group might experience them a lot of stress especi in ally if they could non handle it fountainhead or if they are mis guide. In general, the peer pressure on anthropoid teens relate to qualities that are traditionally masculine.For females, they tend to become more pertain with being popular and also with the physical appearance. These norms may create counterpoint between peer (people usually of same age, which they consider as friends) and agnatic messages resulting to further confusion and stress.2 Mo st adolescents find it hard to decide whether they conjoin their parents or their friends. The psychological step to the fores of adolescence are described in the fifth portray of the Eriksons Development Stage. This is the format of identity versus role confusion wherein teens raise to integrate roles (child, sibling, student, athlete, worker) into a self-image under role model and peer pressure.3 The most important breaker point in Eriksons is the stage five the stage of adolescence. This is also the stage where values have to be chosen, beliefs understood and the self explored.If values are imposed rather than chosen by the child himself/herself, they are not internalized and there is a lack of meaning in later life.4 During the period, when guided properly teens can fully take advantage of making all the po sitive choices they could have. Taking the right choices during this period creates a foundation of how nifty a man/woman he/she can be in the future.
